The Board of Directors of TDC A/S has decided to appoint Henrik Poulsen, aged
41, as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and member of the Executive Committee of
TDC A/S as of today.
Henrik Poulsen, who has a M.Sc. in finance and accounting, has previously been
employed as an Operating Executive of KKR Capstone, which is associated with
Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co being one of the shareholders of Nordic Telephone
Company group, the majority owner of TDC A/S, and as Executive Vice President
of the Lego Group. Henrik Poulsen has also been working with McKinsey & Co and
Novo Nordisk A/S.
At the same time, Jens Alder will resign as CEO and member of the Executive
Committee of TDC A/S, but will remain as advisor to Henrik Poulsen until 30
November 2008. Further, Jens Alder has agreed to continue as a member of the
board of Sunrise Communications AG.
Jens Alder will partially divest his shares in Nordic Telephone Company
Investment ApS (NTCI), which contain the incentive program implemented by the
majority owner of TDC A/S, cf. Announcement no. 44 of 2006. Henrik Poulsen will
be offered to subscribe shares in NTCI up to an amount of DKK 6m. |
