| The Swedish National Tax Board has announced a review decision in an internal pricing issue to AB Volvo’s American subsidiary Mack. The decision results in an increased taxable income for AB Volvo for the years 2002 and 2003 totaling SEK 828 M, corresponding to tax of SEK 232 M. In addition, the Tax Board levied a tax surcharge of SEK 83 M. As a result of the decision, Volvo has been placed in a double taxation position.
AB Volvo will appeal the decision.

| Japanese publisher Shogakukan Inc. has implemented RFID technology in its operations to substantially reduce the return ratio of unsold books. A reduction in waste volumes was also critical. Shogakukan estimates that annual financial losses in Japan would exceed USD 1.5 billion if some 25% of returned books were disposed of as waste. The RFID implementation has also had a marked affect on distribution accuracy.

| TeliaSonera signs a five-year contract with Nordea concerning a high capacity network for data communication. The network comprises Nordea’s branches in all Nordic countries and all ATMs, except those in Finland.
TeliaSonera has signed a contract with Nordea, for the delivery of data traffic between offices and ATMs in the Nordic countries. The network is primarily based on fibre connections and is used for access to the network.
